Ace of Disks. The grounded stone in the center of it all; return to the magnetic source. You're in the middle of bounty: use it. Good fortune.

Two of Disks. Change (Harmony). Two stones implies motion / from one point to another. The force springs from the source and is therefore authentic, a clean motion, a measured change, balanced steps from the ground. Go forth and thrive; an energizing journey.

Three of Disks. Work. The kind where your muscles ache at the end of the day (figuratively or metaphorically, I suppose) a good, solid ache. Now is the time to invest that energy; just do the Work; (there is no easy shorcut) (just plow on through it)...Tiring, maybe, but strengthening.

four of disks: the power of the earth. Things are square and strong, stable; you're tapped into something greater & that's how you can grow. Traditional images for this card stress material security & power; this is a different twist: material insecurity; ultimately the earth is where power comes from, the power to turn a car into a carcass.

Five of Disks: Stress. These material things pile up & consume you, the weight of them, a difficult time, it may be hard to remember that it's a temporary condition. Shrug & breathe if you can.

Six of Disks: Success. A fruition-point has been reached, a stable formation; take stock of what you have earned, savor the flavor. Not a stopping-point altogether, but lunchtime on your hike at a beautiful vista-point, or something like that, perhaps... good on you.

wandered by: the kitchen of a ramshackle cabin once-lived-in, Colorado, autumn sunlight, simple abundance.

Seven of Disks: Failure. A setback in your endeavor. It may be time to shrink back, regroup, analyze, let go... redirect, move another way.

wandered by: Ermou Street in Athens, Greece, during the national sale; trash piled under a store aptly called "More and More."

eight of disks: knowledge. not a sudden revelation (though that may happen), but more of a calculated move, or a steady move, the tree the fruit et cetera; a worthwhile path of study. You've gained experience in the world; a good path to walk.

Nine of Disks. Increase, material gain. You've gained tangible rewards in the world. This card has perhaps too much striving left, never-ending travels, I may change it to a place of more-resting.. or not, because ten is yet to come. The implication is that you take your knowledge with you; you transmute it into gain. For the traveler, it may be all you gain. OK.

Ten of Disks: Richness. The fulfillment of earth. A savoring-place; wealth, fullness-of-a-healthy-sort. Spend it wisely?
